Known for bipartisan leadership, he helped pass major legislation including the Affordable Care Act, USMCA, and CHIPS Act. He chaired the New Democrat Coalition and received an OBE for his work on US-UK relations. Since 2023, Kind has served as a senior policy advisor at Arnold & Porter, focusing on legislative and policy strategy.
