William Jefferson Clinton, born August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas, served as the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. A Democrat and prominent “Third Way” centrist, Clinton oversaw historic economic growth, budget surpluses, and key legislation including NAFTA and welfare reform. He was impeached in 1998 but acquitted. Previously, Clinton was Arkansas’s attorney general and governor, championing education reform. Can look at his presidency through the lens of Monica Lewinsky. The good – he is an American Man, which you can’t take for granted these days. The bad – he took advantage of his power differential like a true predator. The ugly… was it a temptation of such beauty that it couldn’t be resisted despite the stain on our country, or was it a desperate escape from Hillary?
Not the best but not the worst president either.
Miss you Bill!
